Obituary for Jean Dorothy Link (Morris)

Jean Dorothy  Link (Morris)

Jean Dorothy Link, died peacefully on April 21, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was 86 years of age. Jean was the daughter of the late Anna M. (nee Weegman) & G. Herbert Morris. She was the beloved and devoted wife of 60 years to John R. Link, the loving mother of John (Barbara) Link, Janet Link, Carol (Mark) Sharp, and Craig (Pamela) Link, the adored grandmother of Jennifer (Jeremy), J.R. (Will), Andrew, Alicia, Amanda, Laurel, Aidan, Kevin, Liam, and Katherine, and great grandmother of Maddox and Evynn. She is also survived by her beloved sister Ruth (Daniel) Delacourt and sisters-in-law Shirley Morris and Ellen Link (and lifelong friend Nancy MacMillan). Jean will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved sister and brother, Anna (Oliver) Twist, and George Morris.
Jean devoted her life to her family, community, and church. She lived in Southampton for most of her life, and enjoyed the last ten years of her life as a resident of the Ann’s Choice Community.
Jean’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tues., April 26, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Southampton, Pennsylvania. A funeral service for Jean will be held at 11 a.m., with Rev. Pastor Kathleen Harkness as celebrant. Jean will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Jean D. Link may be sent to the Anns Choice Student Scholar Fund- 20000 Anns Choice Way, Warminster PA 18974.
