Margaret Valdez, of Doylestown, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. She was 91. Born in Budapest, Hungary, Margaret, was the daughter of the late Esther (nee Kardos) & Charles Bodnar. Margaret is survived by her beloved husband, Edward Pyle Valdez, loving children, Adrienne Valdez, Chuck Valdez, Diane Valdez Schumann (Juergen), grandchildren, Paul, Laura, Lindsay, Emily, Erica, Christopher, Jamie, Juliette, cousins Irene Hubbell & Margaret Austin.

Margaret was a graduate of Bellevue School of Nursing, New York University class of 1945. She worked as a registered nurse at Holy Redeemer Hospital when it first opened and continued her nursing career until 1979.

Margaret's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, Jan 3, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Ave. Southampton, PA. A funeral service for Margaret will begin at 12 p.m. with the Rev. Pastor Kathleen Harkness as the celebrant. Margaret will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA.
