Obituary for Felix A. Vozzo

Felix A. Vozzo, of Horsham, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013, with his family by his side. He was born June 12, 1932, to the late Paolo and Assunta Vozzo. Felix is survived by his; loving wife, of 30 years, Dolores L. Vozzo (nee Reynolds); children, Susan Myers (Ed), Donna McNally (Charles), Denise Gebhardt (Bill), Dawn Messina (Jeffery A.), Dale Delaurentis (Rick); 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother, Raymond Vozzo; and many nieces and nephews. Felix is predeceased by his wife, Julia Vozzo (nee Zeamba); 2 sisters and 5 brothers.

Felix always put a smile on everyone's face. He was loved by all who knew him. He married Dolores Meadowcroft (nee Reynolds) in 1982. He spent most of his career in the automotive field. He was a franchise dealer of Horsham Esso/Exxon from 1968 to 1982. He then went to Faulkner Pontiac Buick GMC dealership of Trevose as a master technician, retiring in 2004 due to health problems. He enjoyed building and flying radio control airplanes, bowling, classical music, anything Italian, his 2 trips to Italy with Dolores, but mostly cooking for his family.

Felix’s family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2013, at the James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Ave., Southampton, PA, and again Tuesday, May 7, 2013, from 8 to 9 a.m., also at McGhee Funeral Home. A Mass will then be offered at 10 a.m., at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Whitmer Rd. Horsham, PA, with the Reverend Msgr. James McCoy as celebrant. Interment is to be private for Felix’s family.
