Condolences

Condolence From: Jim Moran
Condolence: Dear Nicgorski Family, I just this minute heard of the passing of your Dad and my heart goes out to all of you. I have some of the best memories of my childhood associated with Wally. I will never, ever forget Wally setting up his projector in the basement, turning out the lights, and proceeding to scare our brains out with his monster movies. Enough to send us flying behind the big bass in the corner, that was twice our size back then. lol. The Wolfman is my favorite to this day because of Wally! Wally coming into the garage and getting jimmy geared up for the gokart. When most parents were yelling at us for this or that Wally would all of a sudden appear, have that sly grin on his face, and the fun started! Gokarts, mini-bikes, movies, bullfights on channel 20, sledding, ice cream, tearing up the basement. Will never forget it. When I was a little older, at my grandfather's funeral, he took me outside and explained the meaning of passing and why we grieve. That has stayed with me always. He was like a father to me back then and I've always loved him for that. David, Jimmy, Stephen...i think you were just a baby Billy...I know it's been a long, long time but I love you all and want you to celebrate the fact you guys had the Dad we all wish we could have had.....I know I did! I wish I would have known sooner to pay my respects but you all are in my thoughts and prayers always.

Condolence: Dear Nicgorski Family: So sorry to hear your dad died. ( We initially heard it this morning at 7A.M. mass @olgc, Jan. 22) When we got on the McGhee web site to get info on viewing & funeral times, we were surprised to find dad died on Jan. 14 & that his Mass of Christian burial was on Thursday Jan. 19. We called several neighbors ~ Browns, Oedemanns, Mazullos ~ but no one knew of dad's passing. Sorry you did not let us neighbors know ~ we all wanted to be there to honor dad as a good friend and (original) neighbor, as we did for Mom. God bless you all in your time of sorrow. Gloria & Bob Lechner

Condolence: When Wally and Pat moved in across the street with their (then) 5 boys, this tomboy thought she was in heaven! Years of memories with Penn's basketball players throwing horseshoes, playing down at the creek, and Mr. N seemingly always present and part of the fun. My thoughts and prayers are with all the Nicgorskis at this time.

Condolence: My most sincere, sad and heart felt condolences I convey your family. Your father was an extraodinary human being. I share this in the memory of the many talks when we reminisced of times his work took him away from his beloved wife, and his time with the band. Sadness becoms joy, knowing that your father is finally with his beloved wife. We will miss him and the special quality of friendship he brought into all of our hearts.
